The Rules - Please Read and sign

In order to make The Bunny Hutch an enjoyable place for everyone, we have a few rules.

Be kind to one another.  
   
Everyone is welcome no matter their race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, or political affiliation.  You don't have to agree with their choices but you do have to respect them.  Anyone harassing, bullying or making hateful remarks based on any of these factors will be banned.  Don't bring your intolerance here.  

Please take religious and/or political discussions/debates elsewhere.  

We would like to keep this board non-offensive.  Please keep your language clean and use proper netiquette.  Just a reminder that all-caps is shouting.

No sexually explicit content.

Plagiarism will not be tolerated.

If you are writing fan fiction, you must include a disclaimer acknowledging that the characters do not belong to you.  

No Anne Rice fan fiction.  She will sic her lawyers on anyone who publishes fan fiction based on her work.  If you post it, we will delete it.

Be careful about posting original work that you are going to seek to publish.  It might be wise to only post excerpts.  Use your best judgement if you seek a beta here for your work.

Constructive criticism is welcome but rudeness is not.  Authors -  Please be prepared for feedback that might include suggestions for improvements.  

This is an 18+ forum but be mindful of triggers. If your story has excessive violence, dark themes or adult themes, please label it as such at the beginning of your story.  Readers if there is a warning on a story that you might have a problem with, don't read it.

Readers - feedback should be given in the author's feedback thread.  Please do not insert your feedback at the end of chapters as it interrupts the flow of the story for others.

Authors be sure to request a forum in the "Request A Forum" Topic under Getting Started.

Authors please use the "Title of the Topic" at the beginning of your post to label your stories:

-- Original Work, just post the title.  If you wrote it in response to a challenge, please note that as well. If it is part of a series, please indicate that also.  Examples: My Story - June 2018 Photo Challenge or My Other Story - The Other Story Series

-- Fan Fiction, please post the title and fandom. If it is part of a series indicate that too.  Example: New Tires for Baby - Supernatural or How Cass Got His Wings - Supernatural - Wings Series.

Photos must be hosted off-site.  Avoid Photobucket unless you want to pay for premium. Once you exceed your bandwidth, it puts an ugly out of bandwidth picture up.  Imgur is a good place to go if you are looking for a photo hosting site.

Do not post actual files to threads.  We have very limited storage with the free forum package.  If you want to share files, you must host them elsewhere, such as Dropbox.  You may link to them in a thread.

Please respect that not everyone can watch a movie as soon as it comes out, nor does everyone watch  television shows as soon as they air.  If you are going to discuss spoilers, please make sure that your topic title is labeled as such.  Example: Game of Thrones - Spoilers.

Do not create duplicate threads.  It's fine to have two threads for a topic that might have spoilers.  Example:  Game of Thrones - Spoilers and Game of Thrones - Spoiler Free Discussion and Theories.  Before you start a thread make sure one doesn't already exist.

Do not spam threads.  Do not use this board to sell stuff.  If you have a blog or Etsy that you want to promote we will have a specific forum for that purpose.  Do not create multiple threads for the same blog, service, or site.
